Interview with John O’Callaghan of The Maine
AMH: The Maine toured Australia as part of Soundwave last year. Give us a recap.
John: Oh man, it was a blast. It was all of our first times being over there. Not only is the country beautiful, it was such an incredible experience playing the same festival as Iron Maiden, Millencolin and New Found Glory – the list goes on and on. It was such a great introduction to Australia and we’re really excited to come back

Interview with Bert McCracken of The Used
“Sounds like a productive day! The new album Vulnerable is expected to come out in March, are you excited for the release? So excited! More excited than I’ve ever been about any record or probably about anything I’ve done in my entire life. Fuck man, it’s a fucking epic record. What can we expect from it? Well you can expect the unexpected. It definitely sounds very modern but there...

REVIEW: Soundgarden/The Bronx @ Sydney...
“One of Seattle’s big four grunge bands Soundgarden revived itself back in 2010 to tour the world and in the future to create new music. But Big Day Out garnered Soundgarden to play its 20th anniversary.Soundgarden’s line up was of the Badmotorfinger era; which brought onSoundgarden’s mainstream...

INTERVIEW: Anthony Green from Circa Survive
“You have been touring the 2010 release Blue Sky Noise quite extensively and you’re now in the process of putting together your next album, how far along is album? Well we have the album pretty much collected together. REVIEW: Opeth at The Enmore Theatre
“The lights in the Enmore dimmed and the crowd began to roar because they knew that metal royalty was taking to the stage.  Opeth began to play The Devil’s Orchard off their latest album Heritage and putting it simply the fans in the mosh went crazy. Following it up was I Feel The Dark one song of my personal favourites off Heritage; it had hit me half way through I Feel The Dark, the...

ALBUM REVIEW: Thursday - No Devolución
“Their most recent (and likely last) album No Devolución, was released earlier this year to much praise from fans and critics alike which is no surprise. This is a step away from their older release by exploring the post-rock sound but still keeps many aspects that fans expect from the band.” Click here to read more.

Interview with Andy of Thy Art Is Murder
“Thy Art Is Murder has become a workhorse in the Sydney heavy music scene.  You have become one of the leading heavier Sydney bands. How does this make you feel? It feels good; we have worked really hard writing songs, getting better at our instruments and it has paid off on tour a lot as we play around the country and see our fans. It is one of those things where when you work really...
